Unfiltered reality. Humanity at its limits.

In cooperation with Terra Mater – we produced an 8-part documentary series about the life-saving work of Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders.

Directed by Stefan Tauber, the production took him to the heart of crisis zones. What he experienced on location was beyond words – situations so intense and emotionally overwhelming that some shooting days had to be postponed or cancelled due to health and mental strain.

Back in post-production, the emotional impact didn’t fade. Editor Ramon Rigoni was faced with raw and often harrowing footage – images that stayed with him long after the monitors went dark. But through this emotional weight, the series took shape: eight powerful episodes in German – and an additional four episodes in English.

This project stands as a reminder of what documentary filmmaking can be: deeply human, sometimes unbearable – and more important than ever.
