Commissioned by ServusTV, we at Illuminati Films had the opportunity to bring a special project to life: the creation of a TV trailer for the start of the MotoGP season. The mission was clear – to deliver a visual statement packed with speed, adrenaline, and raw emotion.

The creative direction was led by Stefan Tauber, who traveled with a high-level team to an independent film studio in Malaysia. Within a tightly scheduled timeframe, hero shots of all MotoGP riders were filmed under intense pressure and maximum concentration – laying the groundwork for what would become a powerful cinematic piece.

Back in Europe, the first phase of post-production was handled by our long-time partner Manuel Schreier (RAWVISION). He created the initial cut, implemented early animations, and built the foundation of the trailer.

With that base in place, Ramon Rigoni stepped in to refine the work: adding seamless transitions, perfectly timed sound effects, and crafting a dramatic flow that captured the pace and energy of the sport. Authentic commentator calls from real MotoGP races were woven in, amplifying the emotional impact.

When the trailer finally aired for the first time, the reaction in the studio said it all. The commentators, seeing it for the first time, were left speechless. Their feedback ranged from “pure goosebumps” to “an emotional knockout.”

That was our goal – and we achieved it.
